Lord Vishnu at Sidheshwar Temple Newasa

Lord Vishnu temple is located within the primary temple of Lord Shiva – Siddheshwara in Toka village near Newasa, Maharashtra (India).

The temple was built by Peshwas around 1767 in Hemadpanthi style.

Lord Vishnu idol in the abode looks satisfying with his attributes and precise carving. Lord Vishnu is holding his prime attributes like Panchajanya Shankha, Kaumudaki Gada, Sudarshan Chakra and Padma.

The standing idol of Lord Vishnu is carved out of dark granite and placed in the main sanctum.

Makara Toran adorns the idol as backdrop decoration with two big Sarpas (probably Sheshnaga) on each side.

Gardua is placed in front of the temple.

In this image, god is wearing garland of fresh yellow flowers along with pink colored dress as a part of daily pooja.
