Siddheshwara temple is part of the famous group of temples of God Shiva which are placed around the confluence (Sangam) of Pravara and Godavari rivers at Toka near Newasa (Pravara Sangam). The main temple is the abode of Lord Shiva with Shiva Linga.
On the temple shikhara (top side of the temple), we can locate a musician playing with Veena. Veena is a classic string musical instrument in India.
This small sculpture must be appreciated for its life-like expressions and details. The fingers of the musician are carved so precisely that they bring life to the stone. His sitting position is perfect. His eyes are closed as if he is fully concentrated on the praise for the god via his music.
