Rishabha - A White Bull

Rishabha or Vrsabha means a white bull / ox.

The white color of the bull symbolizes purity and justice. The animal itself is sign of power, vigor and valor.

In Hinduism, the Rishabha appears in many forms. The most prominent form is “Nandi” who is Lord Shiva’s mount. White bull is a mount of Lord Ishana as well who is another form of Lord Shiva only.

Bull is a pertinent part of Indian culture which relied on farming. Bull is also used for mode of transport using bullock cart etc.

Bull race, bull fight are some furious sports in some cultures.
