Shiva and Family

Album of popular prints mounted on cloth pages. Colour lithograph, lettered, inscribed and numbered 45. Śiva and his family are portayed in a predominently naturalistic landscape that includes rolling hills in the background.

Śiva, Karttikeya, Nandi and two devotees are portrayed to the left, while to the right Parvati has Ganesha seated on her knee with Lakshmi and Sarasvati on either side. Two female attendants with flywhisks are at her attendance. The mounts of the three goddesses and Ganesha are positioned nearby.
